Day 29: Clem´s first full day in Cusco

Today was Clem's first day in Cusco; we visited the ´nice lady´who always gives students money off on all the alpaca jumpers etc, so of course we bought far too much of everything (3 jumpers, a bag, placemats and 4 alpaca blankets between us), we then hiked up to San Blas and had an amazing lunch consisiting of extremely non Peruvian food (carrot soup and chocolate waffles) in the Meeting Place. We then went to get Clem´s hair braided where the woman was extremely questionable over the colour choice of her hair and proceeded to talk for some time about her tattoos etc. Finally, we also managed to come across even more alpacas (not that they are extremely difficult to find). The day came to an end with a rather interesting evening consisting of Clem being rejected by the karoke as she was determined to sing Britney-Hit Me Baby One More Time and was the first one up on the bar dancing- not the best decision seeing as we have a long journey to Aguas Calientes tomorrow, we will see how she does.
