Day 58: Christchurch

So we have now been in New Zealand for 2 days, and today we thought we would venture into the centre of Christchurch. We genuinely didn't realise how long it was taking for the city to recover from the earthquake as the damage was extremely obvious. We even struggled to find somewhere to eat after 6 as everything seemed to have closed down even though it was a Saturday night. Anyway, we found the Canterbury Museum where they had a street art exhibition on called Rise which featured some of Banksy's work. We then took a a little walk around the rose gardens in the botanical gardens and then went to find some food before we went off to a rugby match between the Crusaders and the Stormers.
