Day 43: Colca Canyon and the condors

We took an extremely touristy tour trip at 3am to the Colca Canyons today and were lucky enough to see about 3 or 4 of the condors. Along the way on our stuffy bus we stopped off at some natural thermal pools (we couldn't understand why anyone wanted to go in them seeing as the outside temperature was about 38 degrees anyway). Instead we just paddled in the river and lay on some rocks instead! Colca canyon is apparently the deepest in the world as our tour guide kept pointing out, and was far deeper than the Canyons in America.
